REVIEW: Loonie's "Balewala" Official Music Video Teaser released, when's the full length?
A lot of fans have been gushing, "where's the full length?" of the song turned music video "Balewala" from Philippine rap icon Loonie and gameplay changer, Director Willan Rivera.
On Saturday night, January 28th, a teaser video was unveiled on Loonie's official Facebook fanpage account, 3-days after the official poster for the OMV was posted. Artifice Records' executive Josef Amarra cited organic analytics showing 24,000 views in a span of two hours after the teaser was revealed. Organic analytics mean all views were real-time unique viewers and not some spam causing view increase.
So what does this imply? Simple! The long wait has been partially cutoff as a sneak peak inside "Balewala" through a teaser video has been revealed. On the other hand, Facebook was once again rocked by eager fans crying when's the full length going to be released!
The opening of the teaser video showed Loonie paddling through the waters, probably off to fish, as he portrays the role of a fisherman padre de pamilya in this offering. (We can only guess!) The color of the video is magnificent, getting you more in-tuned to watch and enticing you to wait for the next scene. For those who know the lyrics of "Balewala", we were all anticipating for Loonie to spit the first verse after the song's intro. But yeah! Director Willan Rivera was at it again, making fans hold their breaths and gush! As the video was redirected to the last part of the "Balewala's" lyrics. The video-maker genius has indeed added his touches creating a one-of-kind masterpiece, at par or even exceeding his previous works! Mind you tho, this is only the teaser!
"Balewala" is a joint effort from CLIPS Films and Artifice Records with Josef Amarra as its executive producer. The powerhouse cast included Kiko Matos, China Roces Basty Batistis, Vic Romano, Luis Gabriel Cerda, Marsi Maarfi Dimitrov, Poko Ditablan, Richmond Pampolme and Mae Dizon. Beat maker Klumcee who made the beats of "Balewala" has also been a part of the cast. Aklas was also a part of the cast with a role set to surprise everyone-- thanks to Creature Shop Prosthetics SFX Co.
