Kalaban: Why everyone can relate to this!

It happened so fast we had no idea it was really happening. Things seemed falling off the bridge and we don't want to burn bridges that we've once crossed. Apparently, all were busy doing the same random or not so random thing they've been doing for so long. Now, for the beats. Master OG Klumcee had them perfected. It was up to AKLAS to put in some of the best lyrics he can, this time, the tempo and all were different from the usual unorthodox style.

What could be the theme? What could it be all about? It isn't a surprise at all to draw real life experiences and put them down on paper. Besides, a good writer can narrate his story without difficulty. The good thing about it? Everyone has their own "KALABAN" story.

We have our battles to fight, we have enemies to face. Some of which were never thought of facing. The old adage I came across said the intelligent learns from his own mistakes while the wise is indeed wise enough to learn from the mistakes of others. Apparently, we have to be selective about which battles to fight, whose worth to put up a fight with and when to say I give up not because I am weak but because it's not worth shedding sweat, tears and all that anymore.

We all do. We have our own bits and pieces of that "KALABAN" story. Sad fact 'tho. Behind the most painful acts inflicted to us weren't done by those we consider enemies, but those we fondly call "FRIENDS".
